Is it safe to get a massage during the covid-19 pandemic?

Yes. Everything is sanitized between every client and face masks are expected to be worn the entire time.

Am I allowed to talk during the massage?

Yes, of course. Although the benefits of the massage are better if you relax and focus on your breathing.

Do I have to completely undress to receive the massage?

Typically yes, as we use oil to massage the muscles. However underwear is optional and left to your comfort level. You will be completely covered to entire time so there is nothing to worry about.

What can I expect during my massage?

You will be asked to fill out a confidential health and safety form upon your first visit. The massage therapist will go over what is the best option for you that day and discuss what areas they will be working on. Feel free to ask any questions at this point. The therapist will explain how they want you on the table and leave the room so you can change. After a few minutes they will come back into the room and proceed with the massage.

How often should I go for massage treatments?

It is recommended to go at least once a month. However, if you have sports injuries or specific issues you’d like to be worked on, it is recommended to come once a week until they are better. Then you can resume a schedule of once a month to stay on top of these issues and maintain good muscle heath.

What if I’m embarrassed about my body?

This is a professional environment, there will be no judgement. You will be covered by a sheet the entire time on the table to help you feel more comfortable. The only part of your body that will be exposed will be the part the therapist is working on.

What if I have a hard time relaxing?

Many people have a hard time clearing their mind and relaxing. It helps to focus on your breathing by taking long, deep breaths. The room is set up to help you with calming, relaxing music and dim lighting. You will be covered by a sheet the entire time to help you feel more comfortable.

What kind of oil will be used during the massage?

We use Azulene oil with chamomile and vitamin E. It's one of the highest quality, natural massage oil.

What if I have to go to the bathroom during the massage?

The massage therapist will leave the room to allow you to get dressed so you can leave to go the bathroom. When you come back you will undress and get back onto the table. The massage therapist will then come back into the room and continue the massage.

What if I get an erection during the massage?

Sometimes this happens. There is no need to be embarrassed or avoid getting a massage. During a non-sexual therapeutic massage sometimes it activates the parasympathetic system, which can result in a partial or complete erection. This is a completely professional environment and the client will not be judged, as long as they do not act on the situation. We recommend wearing more fitting underwear then just boxers if this is a concern for you. If the client does act on the situation, they will be asked to leave and not return. This is a completely professional massage environment.

How old do I have to be to receive a massage?

Usually the minimum age is 15, although we have made exceptions depending on the situation.

Are walk-ins welcome?

No. It is strictly by appointment only.

Can I pay with cash?

Yes. We only accept cash or e-transfer at this time.

What do I do if I need to cancel my appointment?

Call us as soon as you know you can not make your appointment. There is a cancelation policy of $50 if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment.

Is there a shower on the premises?

No. There are no showers on site.
